The 7270 was shown last May; please note that it is WiFi only - it is not a converged Wifi-GPRS device. It is only meant for campus/warehouse/factory environments, and not for hotspots or roaming from location to location.

True - however the fact that there is now supported IP telephony + multimedia apps is what I am excited about. It would be nice if it was dual-mode, but it is still a very cool thing... and I heard that it will work in HotSpots, but no Enterprise connection, unless someone makes a VPN client for it...
