That's a big hint that AT&T plans to release this model ;)

The Cingular/AT&T 7100 is available now to certain business customers. This is what I was told yesterday by the business rep for our firm.

Several people on HOFO have reported that they have placed orders for the device.

Default BB 7100g

I am employed in a Big 4 accounting firm, and the 7100g is available now, although they do not have any pictures of it anywhere on the website.

Here's the link to it, on the AT&T wireless side. Not sure if the link is accessable to u guys:

Version 4.0.0.198 for 7290 has some bugs, so a new version is being tested now (I believe 4.0.0.258).

Now Cingular has the software for the 7100g, it is v 3.8. WTF! How can ATT have more advanced, newly released software and their big brother Cingular has the older software?

I have placed my order.

Just for the heck of it, I called ATTWS NBO. Placed an order and should receive it within 3-5 days.

It is an ATT phone. She told me no change in SIM card required.

I'm still sceptical, but I have an order number.

I'll keep you posted.

Just as my posted this, MY 7100 ARRIVED!!!! Cool phone.

Trying to activate now.
