Default To BES from Redirector

Please Login to Remove!

I have a 7130e using the Redirector and want to switch to BES. I would like to know if I nuke the device will the device return to the way it was when it was new. (With the Wireless Enterprise Activation Option).

I have read the manual on the device and BES for Microsoft Exchange and this seems to be the recommended solution. I just want to know if anyone has actually done this successfully before I try it. If you have any suggestions, I am all eyes.

Yes. The device will look exactly like new.. with the enterprise activation icon waiting to be activated.
ALL information will be lost, so if you have anything on there you want to keep, might be worth backing it up.

Best to use the BB desktop manager software to wipe the handheld, when you install the desktop manager though make sure you choose the BES option instead of Internet Mail and of course you'll come across an option for Exchange to select as the mail server. Wipe the handheld and reinstall the OS will be your best bet.
