Default Does anyone have LOUD midi's for alerts?

Please Login to Remove!

I've asked before, (no joy) but because bb sales are doubling, I'll ask again.

I find the volume of the 7290 alerts to be not loud enough. Does anyone have some loud midi's? Especially looking for a pager-beeper one of about 10 seconds in length.

Thanks

I'll second that. With the 7750, the ringtones one downloaded from the blackberry site were loud enough. However, now that I have switched to the 7250, although they still SOUND loud when you download them as soon as you turn them into a ring tone or an alert tone, you can barely hear it.

ANy ideas here?

Personally I downloaded a few midi songs - nothing like ACDC 'Shook me all night Long' Blasting out to wake you up

You could always increase the volume of the midi on your computer with Anvil Studio, and then upload it to a free webspace and download it on your blackberry. I've done this with most of my midis because I hate when they are too quiet. You can download anvil studio for free here:

A good place to find midis is www.musicrobot.com

Enjoy.

Default mmf

I'm a little bummed, I had the 7100g and then sent it back and switched to the 7290 and mmf files are not supported. Kinda strange. Does the 4.0 upgrade software allow mmf files to be played or is it a question of the midi hardware on the 7290 device?

I know, I'm such a baby.

Try these WAP sites ... I downloaded them to my 7780 and they are sharper and louder than the one from RIM. Some are free .....
