Default 8700 coming on Monday, final e-mail questions need answered

Hey everyone!
As some of you know, I have been struggling with setting up my work e-mail (on an exchange server without a BES) and my gmail account to both get sent to my blackberry, and while doing that, keep all copies archived in their respected servers and have each e-mail that is sent from the blackberry have the correct "sent from" address. Here is what I ended up doing.

I'm going to set up my work e-mail through T-Mobile's BIS and it will just poll every couple minutes (in between 3 and 15). This way that e-mail address will be registered in BIS.

The next step is the Gmail, this leads to a HUGE pain in the ass. If you POP in BIS, you don't get the benefit of the Google spam filter and all the spam will go to the Blackberry. If you filter the mail, it leads to an issue that you cannot have a reply to address with Google, so if they reply to the e-mail that you sent from the Blackberry, it will go straight back to the blackberry, bypassing google, and therefor not leaving a copy in google.

HERE IS THE SOLUTION I CAME UP WITH:
Forward all Inbox e-mail from gmail to a new yahoo account. Yahoo works seemlessly and push's all e-mail directly to the blackberry. This is also set up in the BIS. With this being said, I would now have my work e-mail (being set up in BIS through Outlook Web Access) being polled every few minutes, and my yahoo e-mail (with the gmail being forwarded to yahoo, eventually fazing out the gmail account with select people) also set up in BIS. This way, I will now be able to select the correct respond address and all e-mail will be set up the way I want it.

Does this seem like it will work? Anyone see any road blocks?

I will say that the gmail spam filters do work for me. I have gmail set to bis.
