Default "Sent" sub-folders on MS Exchange NOT shown on BB?

Please Login to Remove!

Hi, anybody know why my BB correctly shows all my Exchange sub-folders for "Inbox" on BB but only shows one big "Sent" folder on BB (even though I have sub-folders on Exchange)?

I would like to "file" my sent BB messages just as I file my received messages when I'm away from the office.

Thanks for any help in advance

It's been my experience that the consolidated Inbox on the BB can't be used with quite the same functionality as the inbox in Outlook. However, what you can do is have messages go into specific folders using rule wizards, then limit the specific folders that are reconciled to your BlackBerry which can be changed from within the Inbox > Options > Email Settings > Click Selector > Folder Redirection.

For example, I like read receipts. So I have a rule wizard that dumps them all into a special folder that I in turn don't have reconciled to my BB. I end up having read receipts in Outlook, but don't have them cluttering my inbox on the BB.

"Sent Items" is another folder that you can deselect from the redirection area, so you don't get messages you send FROM your desktop.

Thanks for reply, I guess what confuses me is that my BB inbox folders "mirror" my Outlook folders i.e. I have a sub-folder for my main "senders" BUT when it comes to the BB "Sent" folder there are no sub-folders even though they are sitting there on my Outlook (I like to "file" my sent items by recipient.)

Can anyone else think ehy this is?

Thanks
