Default Blackberry Rentals For Dominican Republic

I am trying to find some body with experience in order to set up a Blackberry Rental business in the Dominican Republic. Any suggestions?

I don't have experience but I'd imagine the first thing you'd want to do is research in... you know... the Dominican Republic?

Check with the telecom service providers there, see if they can handle the service.

See if there's a market for them.

Is there a large cellphone market in DR?

Are people going to be willing to dump 100 - 300USD on a bberry and then another 50$ - 100$ USD on the service plans?

More importantly, are enough people going to be willing to do the above to justify the business plan?

If you're doing strict rentals only then check to see if places exist that rent bberries, possibly in other countries (I've never heard of such a thing)

my girlfriend is in studying medicine in DR and i looked all over for a provider that offered a blackberry device with no luck. the closet was verizon which provided the treo wiht a data plan. good luck if you are successful i can guarantee u one customer

Thank you for your comment, donthateme. You are right. The closest thing is the Treo offered by Verizon. I will let you know if I am able to set up the rental business.
