Can someone please tell me if I am able to do this on the 7520.It seems I can receive,but not send.

Receive yes, send no. Try sending as a mail message via teleflip.com [email address]

Upgrade to the latest OS - 4.1 - and then you can send and receive MMS messages.

No, actually, you can't send even with the latest, as has been stated in several other threads.

Even the MMS trap won't work -- I tried mine but failed to send anything out.

Nextel finally released the MMS for the 7520 I've been using it for a week now. Do a master radio reset and pull the battery and put it back in. When the BB restarts you now have the option to MMS people

You can use MMS, but be careful. Generally the data plans come with 100 free MMS messages per month, but when you go over, they're 25cents each. Ouch!

Your other option is to send text messages like you would send an e-mail, but instead of putting in an e-mail address, put in a text messaging address. For example:

Sprint - [email address]
Nextel - [email address]
Cingular - [email address]
