Default PIN messaging problem

Please Login to Remove!

I have a T-Mobile BB 7105t with OS 4.1. I am unable to send or reply to PIN messages. Is there a service book I can send to my phone to be able to resolve this issue without calling T-Mobile?

Do you even see the option to Compose PIN messages on your Blackberry? Normally, on a BlackBerry without an IT policy, all you need is a data plan to be able to send PIN messages. If you have an IT policy applied, the PIN option may have been removed.

Yes I see the option to Compose PIN. I am on a BIS, not a BES. I just get a big red X next to the message when I try to send or reply to it. I have T-Mobile's Voice Barred Unlimited Data Plan with Unlimited Messaging added onto that.

Open the message with the red X. Scroll up to the message status. What is it?

I was trying to reach a contact of a forum I am on and ask him if I could readd him to my BlackBerry Messenger list because I lost all of the contacts I had last week.

My PIN messaging problem has been solved. T-Mobile's towers were down for a bit last night here where I live.

Ok now I'm back with a different problem. I am trying to add a contact to my BlackBerry Messenger contacts list, and it won't let me enter the last character in the PIN. Anybody else had this happen? I have tried it with SureType enabled, with Multitap enabled and still cannot add the final character of the PIN.

Nevermind that last post. I already had the person I was looking for on my list but was thrown off by the PIN when I saw it.
