Brand new BB user here... Company pushed me from Pocket PC to a 8700c. Seems nice, but my biggest problem is lack of my killer app... Intelligolf! Could anyone look at the intelligolf site and tell me if I can load their "beta" java app? and tell me if it's possible to put this on my BB and how to do it? I'd post the url, but I see that I cannot until I post 10 times. The site is intelligolf dot com.

Is IntelliGolf compatible with Nokia-based Smartphones or the RIM Blackberry?

As you probably know, IntelliGolf is already compatible with over 40 million PalmOne handhelds, Treo handhelds, Pocket PCs, Symbian-based Sony Ericsson P800/900s, Windows Mobile-based Smartphones, and over 500 million Windows-based PCs. (blah, blah, blah, but not the most important one) However, we do not (yet) offer IntelliGolf for Nokia-based smartphones (e.g. Series 60) or RIM-based Blackberrys. However, we are working on a Java implementation of IntelliGolf now. Once completed, that should allow us to create Nokia- and Blackberry-compatible versions of IntelliGolf in the future. I use Wireless 18 http://www.wireless18.com/ might be a bit more basic but I find it does the job. You can also try Golfcard http://www.blackberrytoday.com/softw...-rim-rim1.html B&W but it's free and gets the job done.

Try mscorecard. It is really good, but does not have GPS

I recommend Wireless18 as well. Great, simple app and the integration with the website it very cool. The developers are great guys and very responsive to enhancement suggestions and other issues.
