Default Unexpected calendar behavior

Please Login to Remove!

I've had my BB for about a month now but just noticed something today about the calendar. When looking for a past appointment, I discovered that all past appointments, except for recurring appointments, have been deleted. All past appointments are still in Outlook.

I've looked in the Desktop Manager to see if there is a toggle that would prevent the synch process from deleting past appointments from the BB but I wasn't able to dind anything.

Is anyone aware of a way to prevent this from happening?

I'm not sure what Blackberry Desktop Manager and Handheld software version you are running (I'm assuming 4.0 since you've only had it a month). But in the Desktop Manager, there is a setting.

In the Desktop Manager go to Intellisync>Configure PIM>Click Calendar>Click Configure button at bottom>Choose Advanced Settings. Check the options of your date range selection there. I think it may be set to Tranfer only future items.

On the Handheld, there is also a setting in handheld software version 4.0. Open your calendar>click the scroll wheel to bring up menu>choose Options. Down near the bottom is a keep appointments setting. Now I haven't figured this out yet. I'm not sure if this setting just controls the appointments on the Blackberry. I hope it doesn't delete them off your desktop calendar by wireless reconcile. Someone else may know the answer to that.

Hope this helps.
