i got a summer position at Rim just curious what blackberry's we are given when we start also what kind of corporate rate plan do we get, i know we have to pay for it but just curious what exact do we get

You should email your benefits coordinator or HR for that information- should be readily available to them.

Oh, and congrats on the position. looks like we have an insider now.

I worked at RIM and you pay nothing for the BlackBerry device or service plan.

Wow, that is cool Congrat at working there. I am pretty sure you would get a blackberry and most likely service for free.

I would think they would let you choose between a couple of the models. Maybe let you choose the 8700 or take a significant discount off of it. Let us know what you find out! (if you can )

It's KW so I'm going to take a stab and say Bell as the provider and Exchange as the email.

I have a couple of friends that work at RIM but I haven't talked to them in a while, mainly for the fact that I'm in Toronto and they're in KW.

Oh, and mine is free too.
