Question Moving data from MemoPad to Password Keeper

Please Login to Remove!

I have a model 7280 provided by my company. We are on software v4.0. Although I know I shouldn't have been, I was keeping my userID and passwords in MemoPad. Is there anyway to transfer this data to Password Keeper without having to re-enter it all?

Copy and Paste - I think that's the only way.

True copy and paste will work but I would consider that the same as re-entering them. Not to mention that the information in PK is in fields so you would have to break the info up somehow anyway unless you just wanted to glob everything into the notes field.

I can copy the text I want to move in MemoPad, but I can't figure out how to paste it into Password Keeper. There's no command that opens, unless I'm using the wrong keystrokes. Any suggestions?

Here is what I did to test it.

1) Open an item in memo
2) Click thumbwheel and choose Select
3) Select the portion that you want to copy then click theumbwheel and choose Copy.
4) Escape out to the home screen and open Password Keeper
5) Click the thumbwheel and choose New
6) Scroll down to the Notes fiield
7) Click the thumbwheel and choose paste
