Default Global Address List

Please Login to Remove!

How do I get the entire Global Address List downloaded to my BB?

My environment is Outlook 2003/Exchange 2003/BES

Right now my personal contacts in Outlook are on my BB but I want both the personal contacts and all entries in the GAL.

If your BES admin configured it, you can use the lookup feature to acces the GAL. If I am not mistaken, there is only one address book that can currently be synched to the BlackBerry, typically your personal address book.

This will only work if you're on a BES.

With 4.1 you can type the name, part of the name, or the person's user name in the To: field and it will perform a lookup automatically.

SUPER Moderator, how do you "configure it?" Shouldn't the Bes Account access the GAL automatically by having permissions to the information store?
