Default Need Advice

Please Login to Remove!

I am a current Nextel subscriber. Due to our office expanding I am going to need to get some type of smart phone so that I can have my patient schedule sent directly to me. My question is which smart phone will give you the least amount of problems. Nextel currently offers the 7100i and 7250. Now just going off looks the 7100 is my cup of tea, but looks can be decieving.

Thanks a bunch all!

Steve

Nextel offers the 7100i and the 7520 not the 7250.

I prefer the 7100i over the 7520 mainly for the sleek style. Also, if you do a search youxxx8217;ll see that these two BB has been discussed before.

It really depends on you, what you want the device to do the most, and if you're willing to give the SureType the 7100i has a chance. It's certainly not a bulky as the 7520, and when I'm on the phone I feel like I'm talking on a phone, not a frozen waffle. The SureType took about 30 minutes to get used to, and I'd used the 7510 & 7520 for about 1.5 years before I switched. And I wouldn't go back.

I personally would go with the 7100i. It's the later of the 2 models. I have heard very few complaints about that phone but the biggest complaint I hear is the inability to send text messages. I would use the following link to compare the 2 phones:

LMAO I felt like that with my 7730's just HOLDING THEM in my hand, let alone talking on the phone which I didn't.

Thanks for the link!

Hows batt life with the 7100i? I never find what the manufacturer claims is accurate.

I use my 7100i all day long. Heavy use. After about 10 hours of heavy use I am at about 20% battery life remaining.

if you are looking at schedules i would go with the 7100i, if you need to look at excel files i would go with the 7520. As for the 7100i the MMS is a nice added feature. As for battery life I have the extended battery, I run Telenavtrack GPS program, Email (90+ daily), phone (4500 minutes month), Webmessenger, and the backlight is on for 2 minutes each time in a case with no sleep function, with all this running i get 1.5 days on the battery. Before all the apps with the standard battery i would get about the same.
