Angry OS_Assert Called! error

Please Login to Remove!

So, I'm normally just a lurker, but today I thought I'd ask this question.

First, my bb (7290) has been wonky a bit lately. I've been getting "Device error 411" and haven't been able to wipe the bb and reinstall the os due to some difficulty with the application loader.

Today (after doing it's device error 411 wonkyness), I actually got a OS_Assert Called! error. Does anyone know what this was from?

I have noticed that on the device error 411, my batter will be drained and a red question mark will be next to the battery indicator.

Is there any hope for my bb?

Have you tried wiping the device with javaloader? Make sure you have a recent back up first, you can try JL_Cmder on my signature to do this with, after reload the OS and restore from your backup.

Could be software or it could be hardware. Definitely radio related:

First, JL_Cmder worked perfectly wiping the device. And restoring went well... But, it didn't fix the problem. Thanks for the response. I think I will just put myself into a new device..
