I'm looking to do "a very special sync." Is anyone aware of a tool that will let me sync the 800 contacts actually on a blackberry to the same 800 contacts in a public folder containing 3000 contacts? I'd like to have the blackberry update those contacts without the blackberry taking them all in.

Any thoughts?

In the PIM Synchronization settings (options) - instead of having it set to "synchronize", change it to "export". It should export the BB contacts to whatever you have it mapped to.

It will not do a subset of a full list. If there are 3000 contacts, you can do all or nothing. You cannot do 800 of 3000.
