Set up BIS for your carrier. If your carrier is on 2.0 you have a new program that might let you connect to corporate mail behind a firewall. See my Yahoo/Gmail page at my tips site and link to the RIM documents on BIS 2. Review those and see what you think. You can search here for threads on forward or POP to find out more about how mail is delivered.

Default 7130e deleted email on BB not deleteing in outlook

I have a user with a 7130e-using Redirector-when deleteing email from BB and then I synch to Outlook (via cable) it doesn't delete from Outlook. It's set to delete on Handheld/Mailbox. (v4.0)
Seems like a common with different answers, what should I look for? Any help is appreciated!

The redirector will not delete emails via cable, you have to have a BES. The redirector is intended for use with the BES to allow the user to set delivery rules. you just have to manually delete them. The desktop manager only syncs the calander, contacts, note, and tasks.

User has Lotus. Redirector is not an option. They must use BIS.

Are you sure? that doesnt make sense that it wont synch deletes. He had an older BB and that option does work, why wouldnt they have it for a newer version?
