Default Phantom PIN messages

Please Login to Remove!

Blackberry gives me the PIN alert-- no pin in my messages screen.

What gives?

Anyone?

I have never experienced that with any of my BlackBerries. It's strange your BlackBerry does that.

What's even stranger is that when I do a hard cycle (battery out- then in), alert sounds and pin message appears with a back-dated time to when i originally heard the "phantom" message tone.

I am having the exact opposite problem with Google Talk. It will vibrate when I have a message but no icon comes up on the screen.

That's not really the opposite. haha. I get a PIN, it alerts me to it.. but there's no pin dsplayed. I ahve to remove and replace the battery to see it.

Ugh. this just happened again! That's twice in one day. I got an email- alterted as such. I opened the email and read it. Scrolled down to find another email and when I went back to the original which I had just recieved, it was GONE!

I didn't delete it, save it, modify it, etc! Doesn't make sense. I'm on Rogers BIS.

Wirelessly posted (BlackBerry8700/4.1.0 Profile/MIDP-2.0 Configuration/CLDC-1.1 VendorID/107 UP.Link/1.1)

Ugh. Happened again- pin came in, blackberry beeped but there was no pin in my message screen. Nor could I "retrieve" it by hard cycling (battery out/in). Grumble. I think I need to wipe with java loader and reinstall my OS. I'm wondering if this is a glitch within rogers new os.
