I got a BB ( old model: 6750 ) from my manager last Friday, and I installed Desktop Manager, Device Manager and Desktop Redirector on my PC.
( We don't have Enterprise server, so I used Redirector to forward my Outlook emails to the BB. )

I noticed that I only got some of the NEW emails to my BB, but most NEW emails didn't forward to the BB. ( I am sure I didn't setup any filter. ) And those emails forwarded to my BB have long delay, more than half day. ( That is, I got the email from my BB, half day after I got it from my PC outlook. )
Why?

I opened Desktop Rediector:
Here're the info.:

Status: Running

Statistics:
Forwarded: 0
Sent from device: 0
Pending to device: 12
Expired: 0
Filtered: 0

Events:
Time the last message was received by the device: Not Available
Time the last message was sent by the device: Not Available
Time since last device contact: Not Available
Result of last transaction to the device

Why the numbers above keep "0"?
And why all those Events are "Not Available"?
I checked my co-workers PC, they all have numbers in "Statistics", and have times in "Events".

Do you use MS Exchange?, Desktop Redirector only support MS Exchange.

Your mail deliver to personal folder or mail box (Exchange mail box), this is your MS Outlook setting.If you selecet personal folder, change to mail box.

Do you see the "Desktop Redirector" icon on the desktop?
