Default Going from t-mobile to nextel need help

Please Login to Remove!

I have had a 7100T since it was introduced and it has been a love hate relationship( biggest complaint people cant hear me).

I recently merged my business with another company and they have nextel.

I dont know which nextel i should get 7100I or 7520?

Can anyone offer any advise, I have used the larger form factor back when I had a 7230. At this point my only concerne is quality phone reception. Aside from address book access abd tons of email, I surf the net alot and reley heavily on blackberry 411 and more recently google local.

Please advise me where my $199.00 will be better spent since they are both priced equally.

My Nextel 7100i is super. It is way loud enough for them to hear me and almost too loud for me and I turn it down. Direct Connect works well and the button is in a good spot. The speaker can get a little distorted on full volume but Im partially deaf and even I dont use it that loud so you should be fine.

I like Nextel and have for 2 years with my former i530 flip phone. The 7100i is my idea of a very nice piece of technology.

I love my 7100I but have come to hate the Nextel service. It seems to have way too many holes. Hope you have better luck - as soon as our company gets its act togther, I will be migrating to anohter service provider.

Used both, started with the 7520 and got the 7100i when it came out. I went back to the 7520, didnt really like that suretype thing. It was OK, but not my thing. The only thing that took me awhile to get used to was the direct connect button on my 7520. Used Nextel for a long time and the button has always been on the side. On the 7520 its on the top. Other than that the service has been good for me.
