Default VZW 7750 Roaming Question

Please Login to Remove!

I am currently in Canada and My Blackberry is roaming, so It's not downloading any new e-mails. Is there anyway to force it to connect and download new e-mails even though It is in roam ?
I tried "Reconncile Now" but it didn't work.

How does the BlackBerry work while roaming ?

Thanks
