I wonder if they will integrate this with the Browser so you can directly select a video link?

Sadly for those of us on the Rogers 25 MB plan, this will be a wallet killer.

Its this whole memory issue again tho, they cant put memory cards into them when they hav put so much effort into getting them in practically every governments accepted secure device list. And onboard memory is limited to around the 4gb mark realistically these days without breaking the bank and spending more on the memory than the rest of the phone.

This is going to be more like shoutcast/internet radio on demand type thing right? So the only memory needed is for cache, whis way you would be able to use the older devices assuming they have the processing power to render the material.

Itxxx180;s nice to be able to play some music on BB. But would be nicer to actually be able to store it.. to have no mmc slot card, is just stupid!

Maybe it will end up becoming an online source?

Where an account is set up and you store the songs and videos on their server, then through the program you connect to your online library and it plays it from there?

could be a possibility, without something like this it would be nearly impossible for it to work right.

I dont know how it works in other countries, but here with vodafone portugal.. the BB data plan, only allows 10mb of traffic, so if the music would be hosted in a server, to hear it..you would have to dowload it anyway!
I think, it return expensive to do so.

I have a hard time seeing my 7520 doing anything remotely approaching "streamining media". Unless you're one of the lucky who have access to EVDO or EDGE, downloading even a simple mp3 to the device would be painfully slow.

Even with EDGE i would imagine it would be more of a let down than anything. This will be one of those apps that I will def try before buying. You can expect a review at some point.

I would imagine, like some others have said it will be limited to streaming audio/video and available only on the devices with the intel processor. Could this be the "multimedia technology" that RIM has hinted at in a couple of interviews recently?

Just my $0.02 worth.

I don't think my BB is ready to give me the kind of sound my iPod does from my Shure e3cs. Do BBs have an audio interface that's designed for anything other than voice?
