Default Gmail and my 8700 on Cingular

So like many of you I was getting duped email all day long. After playing around with my blackberry web mail and gmail I have managed to get it to stop.

Intsend of setting up the account normally where u just enter the email addy and your username and password. I went to gmail and disabled pop then submitted it. It complained about not being able to talk to the server and gave me a manual page where I could enter the information. So I turned pop back on via the gmail settings and waited a few mins. Then I manually entered everything into the bb web account including checking off SSL and all that mess.

It seems to be working correctly now with out duped email. Give it a shot if it drives you insane like me.
