Default Device manager software...

Please Login to Remove!

How do I remove the Blakcberry Device Manager so I can install the Blackberry Desktop software. That dang thing wont die. It is worse than Spy ware.

Add/Remove Programs should be all you have to do. I have never had any problem with it before.

Done that. However it is still on. I remived Device manager and reinstalled Desktop manager and the device manager still comes up.

You will need to do a full uninstall of the desktop manager and then do a clean install. For the uninstall, go through the removal process through the add/remove programs. Then go in the windows explorer and remove the RIM folder. You also have to edit the registry to remove all BB/rim references. Some of this depends on the desktop manager software you are using.

I would do a search on doing a full uninstall. Your provider may also have info on this too. I have had to do this a number of times due to various problems computer and desktop software problems.
