Default Best BB Device?

Please Login to Remove!

Hi all,

Sorry if this topic has been beaten to death, or if a lengthly one already exists, if so, please point me to it. I know BlackBerry.com lists all the devices, so I'll have to try and wade through it all, but was hoping for your input here.

I am a past 7290 user, now a 8700 user. 8700 is nice; I like it form factor better that 7290, but I think my 7290 sounded better. The EDGE network speed is WAY better that 7290 GPRS.

I have the option of moving to a new device and I wanted to query you all for what would be a cool new device to go for?

I've used both the 7290 and 8700 in regards to work. Now I'm getting one for personal keeps.

Important to me are Java apps ability, Memory, Screen, Qwerty keyboard.

What are some of the newest features available?
Is the GPS phone worthwhile?
Is there a device that plays music/mp3 yet?
Camera phone yet?

Appreciate comments.
Cheers,
Eric

Stick with the 8700. Best out there. No MP3/Music (they call that an iPod) and no cameras on BBs.

GPS is available only on Sprint (Nextel) devices, like the 7520.
