Default Are BES changes required if upgrading from 7510 to 7520

Please Login to Remove!

I posted this inline with a related topic, but maybe I should have just started a new topic, so I'll try this:

I am on my company's BES with my 7510 (Nextel), but my job code doesn't warrant BES anymore (I got on before the policy went into effect). I want to go to the 7520, but am afraid that if I call attention to myself, the BB admins will remove me.

Does anyone know if the BB admins need to do anything for me to start using a new 7520?

Thanks!

Do you still have the Desktop Manager installed? If so, just cradle up. It should ask you if you wish to switch to this device, answer YES and create a new encryption key. You should be fine after that.

Thanks a lot for the reply. Sounds positive. I do have Desktop Manager. I think I'll go for the upgrade and keep my fingers crossed!
