Default Messages do not appear as read in Outlook

Please Login to Remove!

Hello,

BES 4, Exchange 2003 SP1.
When a user reads messages on his device (7290) these messages do not appear as read in Outlook : this behaviour is new, it was working OK until yesterday, the user did not change anything in the configuration of the device (and the policy was sent and applied successfully).

Any idea what this could be ?

Thanks for your help.

Couple of possibilities....Are they waiting up to 20 minutes for it to reconcile? Try using the Reconcile Now option.
Ensure that Wireless reconcile is enabled
Connect the handheld to the desktop and using backup and restore's Advanced button, clear the folders and folder IDs databases. Once done, send two messages with subject Outlook and BlackBerry. when they are both on the handheld, in Outlook, move the one named Outlook to a sub folder, and on the handheld, move the one named BlackBerry to a sub folder. Use reconcile now. They should both appear in the sub folders on both sides. This will rebuild the folders and folder id's databases. Now delete the Outlook one from Outlook and the BlackBerry one from the BlackBerry. Use reconcile now. They should both be gone from both.

Email reconciliation should now be working.
