I am having problems with my 7290 causing audio feedback as it transmits data back and forth. Basically, during the time it is transmitting, it causes a high-pitched static hum in my car stereo, clock radio, computer speakers, etc. It does it at my house as well as at other people's houses. The only solution is to turn the BB off. Can anyone help me solve this? Does anyone else have this problem? It's very frustrating as it is a loud, annoying sound.

I have a 7100I and when I am getting data or am on the phone, I get a hum / buzz in my speakers on my radio in the office and on my car stereo.

It's electro magnetic interferance...or Radio interferance. Happens with just about every cell phone, just to different extents on some of them.

Please correct me if I am wrong, but I believe the GSM band uses a frequency that interferes with audio equipment like speakers. I'm not sure about data transmissions though. I've observed it with phone calls, but I don't see why the data wouldn't follow the same path.
