Default Aviation Logbook Program

Please Login to Remove!

I'm in the middle of designing the logbook program from BlackBerries described above. I intend to build in the following features:

1. Accessible from any computer, BlackBerry or PocketPC with an internet connection. (It will not work on your BB if you cannot get on the internet)

2. Ability to download your logbook to your PC and open it as an Excel or text file. This will allow pilots to keep Excel or text file backups of their log book.

3. Customizable aircraft entries.

4. I would like to try to keep it free.

It's going to take a little bit of work to get it working properly. Before I put in all of the work I'd like to get a read on how many people would use this program. Is there any interest in a program like this?

If you are creating a log, could you create a video timecode log program for tv/video? I have been looking for one and it seems to be the same concept. That would be great!!!

It is basically a spreadsheet "log" where you put a video timecode and then put a description and other comments. Its so when you go back to edit, you already have good shots marked.
