Default Delete on BB and not Outlook shortcut with Reconcile on

Please Login to Remove!

Ok i did a search and came up dry...

**desktop 4.0 BES 3.6

I want to delete some emails on my BB but leave them on my desktop outlook ...

I have Delete On: and Mailbox&handheld , Wireless Reconcile: ON option set so normally it deletes it from the BB and it will delete it on outlook...

Is there a shortcut or do i have to everytime i want to delete a message on my BB only i have to turn wireless reconcile off?

Thanks...

Leave wireless reconcile on. Change "Delete On:" to handheld or prompt.

thanks for the quick reply.. thats what i did for a while too but its just an inconvenience to do this everytime i want to delete only on my bb... is there a keyboard shortcut to do this?

For now i think Prompt is the best way

thanks

also i have my bb set to get rid of old messages after 15 days.. if i file some of the messages in a list i assume they will not be deleted...

No, unfortunately no keyboard shortcut to delete from handheld and not server.

Not sure on the second one. I haven't tried it. I would assume yes though.

Also , if you just file the message from the device and you have "Hide Filed Messages" set to yes. You will no longer see them on the device and they will be on your desktop in whatever folder you filed them in.
