ok... sent the service book and upgraded to that new web interface for BB where it puts a mailbox on your BB and now it is working at EVDO speed...

did a speed test at bandwidth place... 344kbps testing multiple times proved that the evdo is working right.

I tried to do the test at bandwidth place and kept getting java script error messages even though I have all the javascript stuff enabled in my browser.

^^ that seems kinda slow EVDO is "suppose" to be in the 400-700 range and can hit 1mb, on my PPC-6700 I average 600kbs and get around 400kbs in a very low service area. Could this be due to the processor of the BB?
