Default 8700 Not deleting email if deleted from Outlook

Please Login to Remove!

Hi Everyone

I have a 8700 BB that when you delete from the inbox on the Blackberry it moves the email to Deleted Items. If you delete in Outlook it doesnt move the email to Deleted Items of the blackberry.

I have formatted the Handheld and also deleted and undeleted the Desktop CMIME service book..

Any idea much appreciated.

To my knowledge, that's the only way it will work. I don't believe it will reconcile from Outlook to the handheld, only the other way around.

Deletes are reconciled both ways. Now, there's two things with this. If you hard delete (as in the item doesn't go to the deleted items folder in Outlook) then that message will not be removed from the handheld. Obviously the OP is not doing this.

The next thing is that the BlackBerry doesn't have a "deleted items" folder (even though it is listed). If the BlackBerry Enterprise Server sees an item in the deleted items folder in Exchange, then it deletes it from the handheld. It's gone from the handheld and no way to get it back.
