Is there a way to stop/disable Calendar reminders from opening up on the handheld?........but allow them to continue in Outlook?

Don't sync the calander. Sounds like you don't want to use it.

I can't think of anything else either, other than disabling calendar sync altogether. Either that or disable the notifications Outlook (so they won't appear on the BB).

The real selling point with the BB is tight integration with the corp environment. What you are doing runs counter to that.

I use my blackberry only when I am away from my desk. So often when I logon to it, there are 10 or more calendar notifications queued up and I have to acknowledge every one before I can do something useful.

I don't want to disable the calendar notification all together, because they are critical when I am away from my desk. But I would like to be able to acknowledge all messages (in one shot) when I log in.

Or, have the blackberry know not to generate messages while it is plugged in.

Is there a way to do this?

I expected Alt+Esc or some such combination of keys. I have tried everything I can think of, read the FAQ..

I don't see it there. The closest thing I see is in the redirector general settings where you can choose to "Dissable messages redirection while your handheld is connected." I don't want that, I want all of my messages on the handheld regardless of when they arrive, I just don't want the notifications if is generated while plugged in.

I have a corporate unit, it is possible they have disabeled some features. For example, on the handheld itself, I cannot use Bluetooth.
