Default Should I get the 8700g?

Is it worth it? I know it doesn't have a camera which is a downside, but this phone looks so good. Right now I have the Sprint 6700, but am thikning of getting the 8700g on T-Mobile. Will is be a step down from the 6700?

How are the HTML pages rendered? Does it look like the real thing on the PC?

The 8700g is an awesome device. It is great looking and very functional. I am not familiar with the Sprint 6700.

Pages are rendered OK It depends on the site, the browser you are using and the browser settings. EDGE is quite quick.

I upgraded from a previous BB (7290) and am not looking back.

I would suggest using the search feature of the forums. You will find extensive information on choosing the 8700g, the pros, the cons and comparisons with other devices.

Good Luck!

Pages will NOT render the same way on a BB as they will on a 6700. The 6700 is more of a multimedia device - it will depend on page formatting, and it will depend on which browser you use.

The BB is a quick-draw, fast-gun e-mail machine with some good extra features like a phone and a browser. But everything is built around messaging. You don't watch movies on it or play MP3s. It's a clean, simple, stable device with a niche market. Whether or not you're in the niche is up to you.

Also take a look at the 8700 Series forum. There are alot of similar threads with others' opinions there. Enjoy!
