Unhappy whats eating my battery?

Please Login to Remove!

I purchased a 7250 BB from sprint pcs 4 months ago. About 2 weeks ago my battery started to deplete after 4 hours. When the radio is on it looks like something is constantly sending and recieving data. I can't seem to figure it out. The send and recieve icon is constantly blinking nonstop. I am guessing thats what is killing my battery. Is there a way to view my system process to see what is exactly sucking my battery life away? Your input is appreciated.

Ask yourself what cool software did you install lately.

Are you using any IM programs or any new programs. It is not unusual to see the radio icon working but not constantly. If it is then you got something running in the back ground.

What softeware have you installed?

Probably, do you have any feeds coming onto pocketday? News, sports, stocks? I had a similar problem when I used pocketday.

Also I noticed that you don't have google talk but when I first installed that I didn't uncheck the box where it said 'automatically start' or something to that nature so every time I rebooted it would load up and constantly send and receive.

Also pocketday and bbtoday will drain your battery a ton more anyway since theyre constantly running.

With pocket day open click the trackwheel and scroll to options/settings. There are four options one is weather/stocks. Click that and it will open up the options to change the stocks and such. Delete the stock symbols and weather info.

Default Google Local installed?

If so, when finished using it, be sure to close it from its menu, instead of using the back button to return to your home screen. Otherwise, it continues to run in the background and will suck the life out of your battery in record time.
