Default Bluetooth Headset Question

Please Login to Remove!

I'm using a jabra 250 with a blackberry 7290. When I press the phone button on the jabra(usually to initiate or answer a call), it automatically dials the last person I dialed. Is there anyway to make it so it won't do that?

I'd rather have it pull up the "phone" screen on the blackberry.

i have a Plantronics m2500 and it does the same thing. It may be a BB issue and not the headset.

I'm sure it's the blackberry, I wander if it's changeable though.

Maybe defined as a standard command being issued as part of the particular Bluetooth profile being used. That's likely if that's the function of the button described in the Jabra manual. If that's the case it's less likely you can or will ever be able to edit this, and 'break' what the standard says it should do... To do so may risk RIM being able to say the BB meets that Bluetooth profile spec...

I know on my razr it would pull up the call list instead of dialing the last call. IIRC it did that on my 7100T too.
