Default Email taking 1-2 minutes to be delivered to handset

Once I updated my 7250 with the Verizon 4.1 software, all email from my hosted BES (EMM) is taking a good 1-2 minutes to be delivered, while before it was as fast as one needed it. However, the BIS is still being delivered very fast. Any ideas?

In my experience everything Verizon is simply slower.

Honestly, from loading software onto the device, resetting the device and including the processing of messages. Verizon units take twice as long across the board, and always have-going back to the 6750.

Newer versions of software should be implemented with care as I have seen them create havoc. This has been particularly true where some custom configurations are in play.

Recently my clients decided to implement Desktop Manager 4.1 and had some trouble. I found that this version does not permit local sync to remain in play once set. The device will sync once, then revert to wireless thereafter.

I would suggest some testing. Send various types of messages at various times during the day. Then revert back to a previous version, and perform the same tests.

Unless there is a compelling reason to be at the most current version, I would choose the one with the best performance.
