Question FORGOT MY PASSWORD FOR 8700g

Please Login to Remove!

i have blackbery8700g and i did a new password quick and i didnt use my blackberry for week and i forgot witch password i had before can any one help me pls and tell me how i can i open hanhold i have tried 7 times and i cant remember it and ido have another 3 so is there any program can help to open it or anything eles to open it pllllssssssssss help me plss

Sorry, I think you're out of luck. If you're connected to a BES you can ask the admin to send you a new password......

Is there a way to reset the BlackBerry and wipe all the data?

Yes, put in the password wrong 10 times.... or if the device OS is 4.x, go into Security, and then there is an option for Wipe Handheld (have to click to see it).

I just did the pasword wrong ten times on a test device and it wiped the password.

That's good to know because I just password protected my BB. If I lost it there is just too much personal information there. I can also answer the phone without unlocking.
