I am trying to update my Blackberry as I just received it and I plugged it into my computer and its telling me I need to update to OS 4.1 - I downloaded the 4.1 from TMobile's site and ran the installer but when this Application Loader Wizard tries to connect to the device it just sits there. I have a BB 7290 if that helps. Just wondering why its getting stuck at this screen.

The desktop version also has to be 4.1 and you have to do a search for the vendor.xml file and delete it.

Well I updated my Desktop Manager to 4.1 but my Blackberry is only running OS 4.0 and I am trying to update to OS 4.1 - But even with the update of the Desktop Manager the loader still freezes at "Connecting to device (JVM)..."

I also deleted that xml file.

Ok its fixed!
