Default Mailbox (-2)

I got two new e-mails this morning and I checked them through the messages folder instead of the e-mail folder. Now my e-mail folder reads GMail (-2). Is there anyway to get rid of that -2 and how can I can prevent it from happening again?

Have you tried a hard reset (removing the battery)?

After a hard reset I had another e-mail and it did the same thing. Doesnt seem like just something that happens once. Hmm maybe I could contact someone.
