Is there a WAP version of yahoogroups? I've searched here and on yahoo withou success. I find yahoogroups.com unusable on my 8700.

I have not found it in WAP. Yes it is hard to use in HTML format, and you don't stay logged in either.

No WAP or mobile version that I know of either, but if a group on Yahoo is publicly readable you can access the groups homepage and read its messages by entering the groups page into Google Optimizer:

http://www.google.com/gwt/n

However you cannot log into Yahoo through this.

i find yahoo groups HTML versiopn to be fairly light and just fine on my 7290.. not like i'd use it constantly though.. it just works when i need access.

Why not deliver to your blackberry by e-mail? most of my groups are set up that way and it's far more useful.

Thanks for all the replies.

I thought (hoped) maybe I was missing something obvious. I can't even login using my 8700 (the browser has been somewhat crippled by my company's IT people, but I can login to the ebay wap site).

To answer the email question, my blackberry is a device provided by my employer to provide access to work-related email and schedules etc via the (handicapped) browser. My yahoogroups are personal. I don 't want to fill up my work email box with personal stuff.

Thanks again.

Wirelessly posted (BB 7100: Mozilla/2.0 (compatible; MSIE 3.02; Windows CE; PPC; 240x320) BlackBerry7100/4.1.0 Profile/MIDP-2.0 Configuration/CLDC-1.1 VendorID/102)

Gmail to the rescue again.

Set up a gmail account. Configure the Yahoo groups you are a member of to send their list messages to your gmail account. Access your gmail account through your 8700's browser.

That is assuming you can access gmail through the browser. You probably can since you can log onto ebay.
