| maximun number of contacts Please Login to Remove! I noticed that with users that have a lot of contacts from Outlook (2003), I have difficulties activing their device via OTA. I'm talking about user who's contacts are over 4000. Is there a maximun number of contacts for Enterprise Activation?

| I've never met 4000 people in my life, much less talk to that many.

| Yeah, I have every Congressman, Senator and over 40 White House personnel, 233 lobbyists, about 50 political consultants, 20 media outlets, 9 reporters, 30 or so restaurants, every state board of elections office, DOD, DOE, Homeland Security, State, VA and Labor contacts, 800 some legislative aides, 26 state Secretaries of State, and 23 Governors along with family friends and my contact list is still going strong.

| I don't think there's a limit on the number of contacts, just a limit on how much memory you have.
I have 956 contacts which occupy 270.2K of memory, and with all apps, games, mail, phone logs, etc. on my 8700c, still have 6 Megs of memory available.
Unless your email is set up to age out, emails will remain on the device until they 'drop off' due to lack of memory. To see how much memory you have left, go to Settings --> Options --> Status (sequence may vary). Click the wheel and select Database Sizes to see how many items you have and how much memory they occupy. | | Offline
