Default GoogleMaps and 4.1 = no go

Please Login to Remove!

I had GoogleMaps installed on 4.0 and when I try to install it on 4.1 it says it's not available.

Will have to wait for Google to update it I guess...

I think they have upgraded google Maps for Moble Apps. I haven't tried it but maybe this is the cause of your problems. Try going to http://google.com/gmm and download from there.

Hope this helps.

GLM on 4.1 is actually BETTER than 4.0 -- about 10-15% faster when auto scrolling..

so i don't know what problem you are having -- it works fine for me.. always has.

Default Google maps on 7290

Not able to pan using the UJKH shortcuts..
Anyone experienced the same problem?

It was fine with the google local for mobile.
Thanks in advance...

I vote we change the title of this thread. Like most of the other people replying I have 7290 and 8700c handhelds here at work and Google Maps works fine on all of them (version 4.1 O/S from Cingular). So clearly the app runs on 4.1!!
