I know nothing about BB's. I am getting my feet wet troubleshooting issues with redirector though. We are a SMB and only one BB user. The Redirector is forwarding Outlook 2003 email to the BB. All of a sudden it stopped doing this. I've checked everything in the setup and all looks fine. Does anyone have suggestions. It's running v3.6. I thought I'd go to Nextel and download the latest version to see if this helps.

Is your e-mail server Exchange? Redirector, which is VERY old technology, only works with Exchange and Outlook.

I am using exchange The BB is a 7510. I know it's old technology but we only have the one user, so it's not cost effective to use BES.

Perhaps investigate a hosted BES solution... There are several mentioned on the boards.

have you tried updating the Desktop Manager software to the newest version? you can download this from RIM's site

I went to a spot here on this website and it directed you to the provider for updates. I went to Nextel and downloaded the desktop mgr. to v4.0. I updated it and forced a synch. It still doesn't forward. The user doesn't have the CD to uninstall redirector and reinstall or I'd do that next.

you've made sure redirector states it's running? have you tried creating a new outlook MAPI profile and associating the redirector to this?

Yes, the redirector is running. I've not created the outlook mapi and associated it to the redirector. How would I do this?
