Default Import contact list

Will I break anything if I connect my blackberry to someone elses computer to import their contact list? Everyone here at work just got them and I wanted to connect my handheld to my partners computer using his desktop manager because his contact list and mine need to be pretty much the same. Using his would just be easier (and safer) than creating my own again.

One of our district managers tried it and now he says that he cant get calls anymore. He says that he is able to get calls from mobile phones, but not landlines. I dont know if that's a coincidence or not.

If this doesnt belong here I'm sorry

you will basically sync your contacts and his. if you have differnet contacts, both will be exchanged. if you have the same one, you'll have to choose which one is the correct one.

you can set the sync options as to which machine has priority too. i have mine so it asks first. I sync my bb with two different PCs as well.

In desktop manager, go intellisnc ==> configure PIM ==> select address book on the left then hit choose on the right and you can select which way it syncs. You can make it go just one way.

No, it should not cause a problem except, I noticed in security where the policies are you will see an entry for their computer.

Thank you so much.

I was afraid to do it since our manager had the incoming call issue after doing the same thing to his. I'm glad to find out they problems arent related.
