Default help for a dummy!

Please Login to Remove!

my phone keeps locking up and i don't know how to hard reset it....any help would be more than appreciated.

hard reset you simply take the battery out. try a soft first. you do that by hitting + +

nothing! thanks though aaron....it is a new phone to me..my friend works for big financial institution and happens upon the lost and found box after 90 days the phones are up for grabs....the only problem is trying to unlock the dang things!i just got this phone and it let me make one call with my sim card b4 going to lock!

Uh...so it's not your phone. As a security feature, it's designed to lock up so people who "find" it can't use it.

You should call the provider and have it returned. Don't expect much help from the folks here if you're looking to hack the thing so you can use it yourself.

so i did not want to put you to sleep with the gory details ....but to clear my good name and clear conscience 90 days in lost and found includes phone calls to and emails regarding said phone(these things are usually found with some type of identification) although its a big company its not hard to track down the rightful owner...because its as easy to contact someone in this company as it is to get a message to a blackberry user!

and did i mention that the owner is always the company itself?but some people say i lost my phone and have another by the end of business the same day.fidelity doesnt seem to care and it truly is a free for all after 90 days.....

its probably got an IT policy on it, so that it locks after x number of minutes.

type the password in wrong 10 times and it gets wiped.
then re-activate it.. whether that be to BIS (get a data plan) or BES (talk to your company)
