Im setting up my BB to my BES (again) and on my device its going through and doing all its initializing and what not...but now its on the "address book" part and its going through 9000 contacts and taking forever..I dont have that many..I only have 1700..what gives?

you have BES? do you have an IT department you could call?

I've had a BB 7100 take up to 6 hours to synchronize with the BES due to the # of Contacts that a user has in their MS Outlook. I've just let it run and eventually it finishes successfully.
