Default How to distribute contact information

Please Login to Remove!

I am setting up about 100 users with Blackberry's. This is going well but I am at a loss on how to distribute each others email addresses to all users. Like, somehow I would like to get all 100 email addresses of our users in to each users address book. In addition to the Blackberry users, there are about 50 more contacts that would be good to get to each user as well. We have our Exchange Server and BES hosted by Mailstreet (which so far has been great). Is there a way to somehow distribute these contacts to all our users? Thanks for your help.

It might be a little tedious but you could start with the first phone, load all the numbers you wish to have on it. Then create a backup file and one at a time restore that backup onto all the rest of the phones. Each restore will only take a minute or two. Don't know if there's a better solution?

I am not a BES guy, but I rather suspect it has a standard facility for dealing with this issue. I'd check the BES documentation, and if you don't find it there, ask on the BES forum.

Wirelessly posted (8700c: BlackBerry8700/4.1.0 Profile/MIDP-2.0 Configuration/CLDC-1.1 VendorID/102)

Can't you just use the gal for standard contacts?

Or use a public contacts folder and dump what contacts you need in there.

I'm on Mailstreet and have successfully used the GAL (Global Address List) for my hosted Exchange environment to distribute addresses.
