| o2 Ireland Please Login to Remove! Hi Guys,
I just took out a new blackberry 8700g from o2 Ireland.
Just wondering if there are any other users out there of this service? Have a few questions.
I am getting very conflicting messages from o2 on what they will/will not let you access.
I'm having trouble getting OperaMini working. I'm getting the common error:3.0.10:80 error? Anybody manage to solve this?
Also having similar network connection problems with google maps.
Main thing anyway is that I want to get my blackberry going for MSN messenger. Anybody have any experiences with what the easiest way to do this with o2 is. I'm also getting conflicting messages as to whether this will cost me anything or not? They are saying that all WAP usage is free but GPRS is not. And others are saying all GPRS usage is free. I don't think its true that all GPRS usage is free. But anybody have any ideas as to what the actual distinction is? What usage is covered and what is not. Since I'm assuming that it all goes via the one access point anyway?
Somebody told me they thought there was more than one access point and that accessing through one was free and the other was not.
Is this true? How can I see in my blackberry what servers it is using? And how can I set up third party apps to use one or the other?
Any ideas from Irish people or those from further afield with similar experiences would be great. |
